The London Interfaith Community Fun Run 2023 Volunteer Application Form

The role descriptions for the event are available at jvn.org.uk/interfaithfunrun

Please note that preferred roles will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Volunteers are kindly asked to perform the role they are assigned, which will be confirmed in a later email. If all volunteering roles are filled, you will be put on the waiting list.

All volunteers will be provided with a volunteer t-shirt. Please indicate the t-shirt size you will require. All sizes given are unisex.

I agree to attend the on line volunteer training session for The London Interfaith Fun Run.

All volunteers will be supplied with a kosher lunch. Please specify any other dietary requirements you have.

Please note that most of the volunteering roles require volunteers to be able to stand for a long period of time - see the role descriptions for more information. Please specify any accessibility requirements you have here so we can ensure you are assigned to an appropriate role.
Photographs and video clips will be taken on the day, some of which will feature volunteers. I give my consent for Maccabi GB and JVN to use any photographs or videos taken at this event in which I appear in publicity and on social media.

Please give details here of any other information you believe Maccabi GB or JVN should know in relation to your volunteering at The London Interfaith Fun Run 2023.

Your volunteering role at The London Interfaith Fun Run on Sunday, September 3rd does not require you to obtain a DBS check. However, The Faith and Belief Forum with Maccabi GB has to be particularly careful about the background of anyone that may be in contact with children and vulnerable adults. These procedures are necessary in order to safeguard children or vulnerable adults and it is a condition that needs to be fulfilled. You are required to disclose all convictions, cautions, and any relevant non-conviction information. Conviction and non-conviction information will not automatically make you unsuitable for the post applied for but will be assessed with all other relevant information.

Please tick this box to confirm that the information you have provided on this form is true and accurate. Also, that you are not barred from working with children or vulnerable adults, and that you know of no legal or moral reason that you should not work with children or vulnerable adults.
