Hosted by JVN and the Board of Deputies, the Northern Charity and Volunteer Fair is an opportunity to bring our community together and celebrate the charities and organisations that do so much across Manchester and the North.
Book and showcase your charity, meet potential volunteers, trustees and supporters, and connect with other organisations. Whether you are looking for people to give a few hours, share their professional skills or make a longer term commitment, this is your chance to start those conversations face to face.
Event details
Thursday 19 November 2026 | 4pm–7pm
North Manchester
Charity booking: £10 per organisation
Light kosher refreshments will be provided.
Why be part of the fair?
Showcase your work – help people understand what you do, who you support and the difference your organisation makes.
Meet potential volunteers and trustees – speak directly to people interested in giving their time, experience and skills.
Find new supporters – introduce your organisation to people who may be able to support your work in different ways.
Build connections – meet other charities and voluntary organisations, share ideas and develop relationships across the sector.
Promote your volunteering opportunities – highlight the different ways people can get involved, whether that's through regular volunteering, one-off opportunities, using professional skills or taking on a trustee role.
After the fair
We’ll follow up with participating organisations to hear about the connections and opportunities that came from the event. This will help JVN and the Board of Deputies understand its impact and continue developing initiatives that support volunteering and strengthen our community.
