Applications are now open for the Jewish Leadership Council and Jewish Volunteering Networks ‘Future Trustees Programme 2026-27’.
Designed for aspiring leaders aged 21-40, this programme will provide the knowledge, confidence and practical insight needed to take your first step towards a trustee or committee role within a Jewish organisation.
Through a series of interactive sessions, you'll learn about governance, finance, fundraising, board leadership and the responsibilities of trustees, while meeting experienced leaders and like-minded peers from across the community.

All successful applicants will be expected to attend all five sessions (dates are listed below) and you will be asked for a £100 deposit which will be returned, in full, after the final session if you have attended all of the sessions.
- 11th November - Understanding the Purpose and Impact of Being a Trustee (in person 6.00-9.30pm)
- 10th December - Governance & Legal Responsibilities (online 7.30-9.30pm)
- 14th January - Finance & Fundraising (online 7.30-9.30pm)
- 17th February - Understanding the Trustee Recruitment Process (in person 7.30-9.30pm)
- 25th March - Trustee Matching (in person 7.30-9.30pm)
