Finance for Non-Finance People with Adam Halsey, Haysmacintyre
This session will help aspiring trustees understand the intricacies of Charity finances for non-finance individuals. From understanding charity accounts to budgeting essentials, participants will gain practical insights to help them navigate a key trustee requirement with greater confidence. Understanding this area will allow participants to make informed decisions and contribute effectively to strategic decision making.
Adam specialises exclusively in charities and not-for-profit organisations and works with a variety of schools and religious charities, and leads Haysmacintyre's Environmental and Animal Welfare charities offering. He mainly works in statutory audit and accountancy, but also advises clients on internal audit training and outsourcing, financial systems reviews, recruitment of key financial personnel, new SORP implementation and advice on policy setting. He is part of Haysmacintyre's Forensic Services team.
