Volunteer Management Seminar - Tools of the Trade

JVN is running a seminar that will give you the chance to examine the 'hot topics' in volunteer management. It will be a forum to hear from your peers and experts in the field about how you can maximise effectiveness and efficiency within your departments.

We will bee looking at five essential 'tools of the trade':

Database management
Essential policies
Difficult situations and complaints
Supervision
Social media

Each attendee will review two of the five topics in small groups in more detail before sharing their conclusions with the other groups.

The seminar will be held at the Head Office of the Association of Jewish Refugees in Finchley.

Please RSVP to Caroline at caroline@jvn.org.uk or call 020 8203 6427 ext.3, stating a preference for which two of the five topics above you would like to explore in more details. Please note that due to limited availability we cannot guarnatee that everyone will be able to explore the topics of their choice in detail. Places in preferred groups will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. However, attendees will have ample opportunity to hear about the discussion from all groups.

Charge: £10 for members, £20 for non-members.
