We will be discussing how the pandemic has changed some volunteering roles to such an extent that they will be obsolete when we finally go back to some kind of normality. Many volunteers have been unable to carry out their roles over the past year and we need to think about how we re-engage with them and explain that whilst roles may have disappeared there is still a place for them in our organisations.
How flexible are these volunteers? Will they take on new roles? Will they be willing to come on the journey with the organisation and what will we do if they refuse? Alternatively, is this our opportunity to look at things differently and move on volunteers who are not supporting our organisation.
There is no doubt that things will be different when volunteers are allowed to resume face-to-face roles. Has your organisation thought about this? Come and share your plans, views and ideas.
The deadline to book for this event is at 5pm on Tuesday 16th March.
