Volunteer Managers' Forum; Understanding the Human Rights Act in a Volunteering Context
Thursday 25th June 2026, 10:00-11:00
Online
This session will explore how the Human Rights Act can support you in building confidence and clarity in your role as a Volunteer Manager. By the end, you will have a clearer understanding of how it applies to everyday volunteering. Rather than focusing on legal detail, we will look at what it means in practice – helping you create an environment that is fair, inclusive and respectful. You will see how a greater awareness of the Act can support you in designing roles, supporting volunteers, and responding to challenges with confidence. Practical and relevant, this session will offer simple ways to embed a human rights approach into your organisation’s culture.
We are delighted to be running this session with René Cassin.
