Volunteering abroad

If you are of a more adventurous nature you may want to consider volunteering abroad. Many charities and non-profit NGOs can benefit from expertise from overseas and may even be willing in some instances to contribute to the volunteer’s expenses and travel costs (though this is not guaranteed).

JVN’s opportunities are mainly based in the UK. However, we do have some Israel-based charities with opportunities available, and not all are looking for particular expertise, with some family-friendly options suitable for holiday-makers. Most such opportunities tend to be available around the school holidays. There are also some opportunities in other countries available at certain times of the year.
