Volunteering at school

Many schools run volunteering projects of their own, while national award schemes such as The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and the vInspired Award, alongside government initiatives such as the National Citizen Sevice (NCS), provide great experiences for young people and an opportunity for them to earn qualifications for their voluntary efforts. The Yoni Jesner Award and Yoni Jesner Award Plus are also available to gain for younger children.

JVN has an agreement with the Jewish Lads’ and Girls’ Brigade (JLGB), who lead on young people’s volunteering programmes up to and including unviersity age. To find out more and for to see a range of age-appropriate volunteering opportunities, get in touch with JLGB at evolve@jlgb.org or call 020 8989 5743. Please mention JVN in your email or phone conversation.
