Face to Face Befriending - Cheadle
We are looking for a friendly and reliable volunteer who has time to commit to visiting, and possibly going out with, a gentleman who lives in Cheadle either every other week or monthly.
What difference you will make
You wil be giving the client one to one attention, listening to them, helping them to feel valued and build their confidence.
Regular visits will enable you to build a rapport and help the client.
What additional skills or experience you should have
We are looking for a commitment of 2-3 hours either every couple of weeks or monthly.
You will be patient and friendly.

Training and ongoing support will be provided
What you will get out of volunteering for us
Volunteering for AJR helps you to give back to our community. You will have the opportunity to learn new skills and build on your current ones.
Travel expenses will be covered
