Build Your Marketing Portfolio While Making a Real Difference – Social Media Volunteer (2–4 Hours a Week)
Role Overview
Help British Emunah share the stories, impact and achievements of our work across Israel through engaging social media content. This flexible volunteer role is ideal for someone creative who enjoys social media, storytelling and digital content creation, and wants to use their skills to support vulnerable children and families.
Key Tasks
- Plan and schedule engaging social media content across our platforms.
- Create graphics, reels and short videos to support campaigns and storytelling.
- Promote fundraising campaigns, events and volunteering opportunities.
- Help grow and strengthen British Emunah's online presence and engagement.
- Monitor engagement and suggest ideas for improvement.
- Provide a short monthly update on performance and key metrics.
- Attend occasional events (optional) to capture photos and video content.
- Work remotely, with occasional office visits if required.

British Emunah works to ensure that no child is forgotten. Every day, vulnerable children and families across Israel rely on Emunah for safety, care and the chance to build a brighter future through residential care, therapy, crisis support and education. By helping us tell these stories, you will help ensure that more children and families receive the support they need.
What additional skills or experience you should have
- A passion for social media and digital communications.
- Creativity and an eye for engaging content.
- Confidence using social media platforms and an understanding of how to engage younger and emerging audiences online.
- The ability to work independently and manage your own time.
- An interest in the work of British Emunah and our mission to ensure no child is forgotten.
- An understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality and respectful communication when representing a children's charity.
What training we will provide for you
- An introduction to British Emunah and our work in Israel.
- Guidance on our brand, messaging and social media channels.
- Safeguarding and confidentiality guidance relevant to the role.
- Ongoing support and regular check-ins with the team.
