Chai Cancer Care
Manicurist
Basic filing of nails and applying nail polish
What difference you will make
Helping clients who are going through a cancer diagnosis to feel good about themselves or it may be around a special occasion.
What additional skills or experience you should have
We would like to ensure that volunteers who work with our clients fully understand and appreciate the issues that are important to our clients. As such we normally ask that volunteers have had some personal or family experience of cancer or have the attributes and empathy to work with cancer patients. If you have had personal or family experience of cancer, we would suggest a time gap of one year minimum.
What training we will provide for you
We have an induction process when you join the Chai team.
What you will get out of volunteering for us
Being part of a wonderful charity that helps cancer patients feel better about themselves.
