Volunteer Ambulance Driver
Magen David Adom UK have acquired an ambulance which will function as a mobile museum, to be taken to communities, synagogues, churches and schools to showcase MDA’s work. We are looking for reliable, community-minded volunteers to drive our ambulance. You do not need to commit to every opportunity, we aim to build a pool of volunteers who can help when available.
What difference you will make
This opportunity is perfect for someone who enjoys driving, wants to give back to their community and support MDA in raising awareness of our lifesaving work.
All expenses will be reimbursed.
What additional skills or experience you should have
Requirements: Full UK driving licence with C1 entitlement
What training we will provide for you
You will be provided with any necessary training, but must already have a driving licence with C1 entitlement
What you will get out of volunteering for us
Volunteers will benefit by using a practical skill they enjoy — driving — to support a meaningful cause. The role offers a real sense of purpose, flexible involvement that fits around their schedule, and the chance to connect with communities while representing MDA’s lifesaving work. It’s a rewarding way to give back without needing medical training, and all expenses are covered.
Not sure which role suits you or need a little friendly help? Please contact our volunteer broker at volunteerbroker@jvn.org.uk for London or Rebecca at manchester@jvn.org.uk for Manchester.
