Volunteer Event Assistant – Yiddish Culture Weekend
Be part of a vibrant celebration of Yiddish culture, music and community! Support a busy and dynamic cultural day by welcoming attendees, giving directions across the venue, answering questions, and helping sessions run smoothly. You’ll help steward audiences between activities, support JMI staff with logistics, and ensure a friendly and calm environment throughout the day. JMI is developing a long-term team of trusted volunteers. While we’d love to build ongoing relationships, we fully understand that availability varies and welcome anyone able to offer their time. Time commitment: Sunday 30 August 2026, 9am - 8pm (full day or half day shifts, including setup and close)

Jewish Music Institute
JMI is the home of Jewish music in the UK. We are dedicated to the celebration, preservation and development of the living heritage of Jewish music for the benefit of people of all ages and backgrounds.
Our goal is to inform and inspire audiences with an exciting, original programme of live performances, educational events and collaborative projects and to support musicians playing Jewish music across the UK enabling them to preserve this traditional heritage, create new work and reach the widest audiences.
