As our charity grows, we’ve recognised how important it is to have someone dedicated to looking after our people – the volunteers who make everything we do possible. You’ll be one of the first friendly faces a new volunteer meets, and a familiar, reassuring presence they can turn to throughout their time with us. Think of it as being the glue that holds our international team together. You’ll welcome people in, help them settle, check in on how they’re getting on, and make sure no one ever feels like just a name on a spreadsheet. It’s an ideal role for someone reliable, friendly and approachable, who genuinely enjoys people and puts them at ease. In this role - you would be: Giving new volunteers and team members a warm welcome as they join us, and a proper send-off when they move on. Checking in with one or two team members each week for a friendly catch-up – a chance to hear how they’re really getting on. Keeping volunteer and team member information up to date on the charity website, so our community directory always reflects who we really are. Being the person who makes sure every volunteer and member of staff feels seen, supported and genuinely part of something bigger, wherever in the world they’re joining us from.
