The President, staff, trustees and volunteers of the Jewish Volunteering Network are devastated to hear of the passing away of Leonie Lewis, JVN’s founding Director and everyone’s friend. Leonie was diagnosed with lymphoma just 6 weeks before and after a brave fight, she finally succumbed to her illness on April 29th.
In the words of her family, “she loved everyone and worked for every good cause”.
There is so much to be said about Leonie and we will – right now our thoughts are with her family, Howard, Adam, Ben, Bassie, Ruth, Bernard and all the grandchildren.
