How to register your organisation

Registering with JVN is quick, easy and free to do.* To register your organisation, you first need to create a personal account, because each organisation needs to have at least one person responsible for creating opportunities, receiving our emails and, most importantly, responding to volunteer enquiries and applications.

To register your personal profile, click on Register in the top right hand corner of your screen. See figure 1 of the screenshots.

Once you have registered, and every time you log in, you will be directed to the My Account page. You can also come back to this page at any time by clicking on My Account, which will replace the Register box in the top-right.

To register your organisation, click on Add a charity. As your charity is not yet on the JVN system, enter the name of the organisation and click Continue. You will then need to fill in the form. It is crucial to enter the full name (as you wish your organisation to appear on the website); the charity number; a short description of your charity (as you would want volunteers to see); an email address for either yourself or the relevant contact person at the charity; your charity postcode; and upload a charity logo. Without this information your volunteering opportunities will not be visible to potential volunteers. Please also upload as much additional information as possible.
