The UJIA Evelyn Shamash
Israel Engagement Leadership Award

This new award will recognise a young volunteer who has demonstrated exceptional leadership in inspiring meaningful engagement with Israel among their peers. This may include education, relationship-building, dialogue, cultural programming, leadership development, community-building or creating opportunities for others to explore and strengthen their connection with Israel.

To submit for this award, please ensure that your organisations are within the Parameters for Israel Engagement. If you are unsure, please contact Gemma at gemma@jvn.org.uk

We recognise that organisations engage young people with Israel in different ways. Volunteers may demonstrate leadership through education, culture, dialogue, informal learning, community-building, travel programmes, social action, peer leadership or other initiatives that foster meaningful engagement with Israel. The strongest submissions will demonstrate the charity winner's ability to inspire and positively influence others.
