Volunteer at Jewish Care's BRAND NEW Isaacs Dementia Day Centre in Golders Green

Opening in October 2026, the Isaacs Day Centre is a brand-new Day Centre providing vital support for people living with mild to moderate memory impairment or dementia, offering an important new resource for the community. As a General 'Butterfly' Volunteer, you'll play a key role in helping the centre run smoothly. From welcoming members and supporting activities to serving refreshments and spending time chatting with members, you'll help create a warm, friendly and engaging environment where everyone feels valued and enjoys a fulfilling day. What you'll be doing: - Welcoming members as they arrive and helping them settle into the centre. - Chatting with members and encouraging social interaction and participation. - Supporting activities, including setting up and tidying away. - Assisting with refreshments and lunch service. - Working alongside staff and volunteers to provide a positive experience for members.

Not sure which role suits you or need a little friendly help? Please contact Angie at angie@jvn.org.uk for London or Rebecca at manchester@jvn.org.uk for Manchester.
