Charity Shop Assistance
We are looking for friendly and reliable volunteers to join our charity shop team. Volunteers will help sort, prepare and sell donated goods, assist customers and support the day-to-day running of the shop. This role is ideal for people who enjoy working as part of a team and interacting with the public.
What difference you will make
By volunteering in our charity shop, you will help raise vital funds that support the work of LJWB and the services we provide to the community. You will also help create a welcoming and positive environment for customers, donors and fellow volunteers.
What additional skills or experience you should have
No previous experience is needed. We are looking for friendly, reliable volunteers who enjoy working as part of a team and providing good customer service.
What training we will provide for you
All volunteers will receive an induction and ongoing support from the Shop Manager, including on-the-job training in all aspects of the role.
What you will get out of volunteering for us
Volunteering in our charity shop is a great way to meet new people, build confidence and gain valuable retail and customer service experience. You will be part of a friendly and supportive team while helping to make a positive difference in the local community.
Not sure which role suits you or need a little friendly help? Please contact Angie at angie@jvn.org.uk for London or Rebecca at manchester@jvn.org.uk for Manchester.
