10 for 2012: A Once in a Lifetime Opportunity!
Jewish Volunteering Network needs 10 of the very best volunteers for the London 2012 Paralympic Games
As part of its work connecting volunteers to volunteering opportunities within the Jewish community, the Jewish Volunteering Network (JVN) has been asked by the British Friends of Israel War Disabled (supporting the Israel Paralympic Committee) to find ten of the very best volunteers to assist the Israeli Paralympic team during their stay in London for the London 2012 Paralympic Games.
Providing absolutely essential and hands-on help to the athletes during the Games, which take place Wednesday 29th August to Sunday 9th Sept 2012, the volunteers need to be able to speak basic (or better) Ivrit and to be able to commit to helping the athletes for 8 hours per day on a rota basis, 7 days per week over the Games period.
This is an amazing opportunity; be at the heart of the biggest show on earth and help the Israeli athletes to achieve their goals and continue their outstanding Paralympic success. The chance to merely spend time with these remarkable athletes is a life-changing opportunity.
