JVN’s commitment to promoting and upholding good practice in volunteer management across the voluntary sector means that we like to share information, tips and resources with charities dealing with a variety of issues, to help organisations maintain high standards.

Some of the resources below are available to all, but others are only available to JVN Full Partner Charities. Click here to see our exclusive Full Member resources.

Click here to find out more about Full Partnership. Also please note that these resources are not to be used as a substitute for the JVN Companion to Volunteering, a free copy of which is given to Full Partners (additional copies are available to purchase here), but they may supplement some of the issues raised in it.

If you would like to see something added to this page, or if you think you can contribute something that other charities would benefit from, please do not hesitate to contact us.

NCVO

The NCVO (National Council for Voluntary Organisations) Almanac, updated every year, brings together information from charities’ accounts, administrative data and surveys to provide a comprehensive overview of the structure and economy of the UK voluntary sector. In doing so, it offers valuable insights into the ways in which the sector is experiencing growth and change. JVN is an NCVO member organisation.
