JVN Chanukah Party – The Inside Report!
It would be difficult to disagree – the 8th of December was a night to remember! Chanukah went out with a bang, as the newly reopened Jewish Museum in Camden hosted the JVN Chanukah Party.
I was thrilled to have the opportunity to acknowledge and appreciate all the hard work JHub volunteer coordinators have invested over the past year.
We were honoured to tour the new museum, and privileged to assist the World Jewish Relief’s Chanukah campaign, whereby gifts are sent to poverty-stricken Eastern Europe.
The Jewish Museum invited some of their key volunteers to the event. Robert Craig, Vice-Present, thanked everyone for generously giving their time. “JVN provides a tremendous service to the community, putting would-be volunteers in touch with agencies which need their help. The Jewish Museum, for example, is grateful to the JVN for its assistance in building up our roll of 170 invaluable volunteers.”

Additionally, Robert praised our online search tool, saying he could find a gardening position in North Scotland through our website if he wanted to.
Thankfully, our services have indeed increased over the last year and we are proud to say we have more volunteers and opportunities than ever. But it’s the volunteers who are the real stars of the.
